I have  son with adhd but my problem is he was struggling and got some troubles in school because of his behavior. I decided to move him out from private school where he was at and send him to boarding school. My friend Tommy told me that its better to send him in any ADHD schools than to send him boarding school. He knows how hard to imagine that son needs special care. I hope that the school can give that care that he needs while learning. Can anybody have suggestions?

Thanks

Adel

I would do very careful research on any of the programs you are thinking about that includes finding out what training, qualifications, and philosophy they have.  Many of the private schools don't necessarily use certified teachers and you need to be careful that the school is fully accredited so your son won't have problems with employers or colleges accepting his credits/diploma.  If you are looking a residential/boarding schools, you need to make sure that there aren't any abuse/neglect problems.

My only question is only : where are you located ? and if you already know your son is ADD, does that mean is his diagnosed, and is he being treated ? if so , does the school know ? and then have you been following up with your Doctor since then regarding his behavior and discussing it then from all this :-)

Please let us know your progress and we hope everything is working well so far Adel :-) Laugh
